We at EKI Flowers are celebrating our first ten years of business in Georgia!!
EKI flowers was established on May of 2000 by Gerardo and Nadya Barba as a innovative option for local retailers who were looking for a shorter stretch between the farms and their coolers.
Since the beginning, our mission of providing a fresher product at a good price has allowed us to win over an important part of the local market share.
Originally our focus was to provide as many varieties of roses as they are grown in Ecuador to retailers, event planners and others who could benefit from the direct connections that Gerardo and Nadya brought from their homeland.
I wasn’t long before we learned, that just as Ecuador has been blessed with a geographical location that allows more sunlight and hence a brighter more vivid colors on the roses, there were many other regions that provided ideal climates for growing other types of beautiful and interesting flowers. That’s were the fun really begun.
Digging deeper and deeper into different regions in different countries and even different continents, we started finding many interesting alternatives for cut flowers and foliage.
It wasn’t long before we started dealing with growers in Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, USA, Canada, Holland, Italy, Israel, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
Now, we are capable of providing our costumers with a vast variety of products from all over and we are always searching for more!
